These terms bring together Leaf’s terms of use and terms of sale. They are the contract between you and TIPIT SRL (“Leaf”, “we”), whose details are in the legal notice.
1. Purpose and acceptance
Leaf puts online the sites and tools you build with an artificial intelligence (“AI”), and provides what goes with them: hosting, content editing, forms, accounts for your apps’ users, databases, translations, real time, payments and AI calls from your apps.
By creating an account or using Leaf, you accept these terms. If you accept them for an organisation (a company, an association), you confirm you have the authority to bind it.
2. Definitions
- Organisation: the space where your projects, members, subscription and usage live.
- Project: a site or tool hosted by Leaf, with its code, content, files and data.
- Visitors: the people who open your projects’ sites.
- Your apps’ users: visitors who create an account on one of your sites.
- Consumer: an individual using Leaf for purposes outside their trade or profession.
3. Account and organisation
You sign in with a link sent by email or with Google. You keep access to your email address and your Google account to yourself, and tell us without delay if someone else has access.
An organisation has owners, admins and members. Owners and admins invite people, choose who puts a site online, and manage domains, secrets and billing. What a person in the organisation does, or an AI connected on their behalf, binds the organisation.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Plans and prices
Leaf offers personal plans (Free, Solo and Plus), made for one person, and team plans, billed per member on top of a base amount. What each plan includes and its price are shown on the Pricing page when you subscribe.
Prices are shown excluding VAT; the applicable VAT is added at payment. A company that needs invoices in its name, with its VAT number, picks a plan that allows it, as the Pricing page shows.
We may change our prices. A new price applies to your subscription from the renewal that follows a notice of at least 30 days, sent by email. You may cancel before that date.
5. Included usage, usage above it, and credits
Each plan includes an amount of usage every month: visits and data sent, computing time, updates of your sites, storage, databases, real time and AI calls, counted together in euros at the prices published on the Pricing page.
Above that amount, usage is paid with credits: prepaid top-ups, valid 12 months after purchase and used oldest first. The organisation chooses whether its usage may draw on its credits, and may set a monthly cap. Credits are not refunded or exchanged for money, except where the law requires it (in particular the right of withdrawal, section 7).
When included usage runs out and no credits can take over, the organisation is paused: its pages stay online with a notice, but server code, new updates and AI calls stop until the next month, a credit purchase or a plan change. Your data is not deleted.
Every AI call counts, including one that fails, because the model provider bills us for it.
6. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payments go through our provider Stripe. Leaf never sees your card number.
A subscription is paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and renews automatically at the end of each period. You can change plans or cancel at any time from the Billing page of the dashboard. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; the period started is not refunded, except where the law requires it. The organisation then returns to the free plan, with its limits.
If a payment fails, our payment provider tries it again. If the subscription stays unpaid, it ends and the organisation returns to the free plan.
An organisation paying as a company receives an invoice in its name, available on the Billing page.
7. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from subscribing to a plan or buying credits to withdraw, without giving a reason.
By subscribing, you ask for the service to start right away, during that period. If you then withdraw, you pay an amount in proportion to the service provided until your withdrawal, and usage already consumed (including credits used) remains due. Once the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal no longer exists.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement at [email protected], for example: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for [the subscription or the credits], subscribed on [date], in the name of [name], for the organisation [name], account email address [address].” We refund you within 14 days, using the payment method you used.
8. Your content and acceptable use
The code, texts, images and data of your projects remain yours. You allow us to store, copy, transform and serve them only as far as needed to run Leaf for you.
You answer for what your projects publish and do, including what an AI wrote for you, and you guarantee you hold the necessary rights. You may not use Leaf to:
- publish content that is illegal, hateful, or infringes the rights of others (copyright, trademarks, privacy);
- phish, defraud, or impersonate a person, a brand or an organisation;
- spread malware, or attack, probe or overload other systems;
- send spam or unsolicited messages;
- get around Leaf’s limits, or reach another customer’s data.
If we find or are told of such use, we may suspend the site, project or organisation concerned, after warning you where possible, and without notice when urgency or the law requires it (phishing, malware, an order from an authority). We may remove clearly illegal content and report it to the authorities.
9. Your visitors’ and users’ data
For the personal data of your visitors and your apps’ users (form submissions, accounts, the content of your databases, purchases), you are the controller and Leaf is your processor: we process it only to provide the service, on your instructions.
Our data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR) is part of this contract and is sent on request at [email protected]. The providers we use are listed on the Subprocessors page.
It is up to you to inform your visitors (a privacy notice on your site), to have a legal basis for what you collect, to answer their requests, and to handle the cookies your site sets.
10. Payments in your apps
Your apps can sell products and subscriptions to their users. You connect your own Stripe account for this (Stripe Connect), and Stripe’s terms apply between you and Stripe.
You are the seller: the sale is between you and your buyers, and you answer for your prices, your tax duties (VAT, invoices), consumer rights, refunds and disputes. The money reaches your Stripe account; Leaf never holds it.
Leaf takes a fee on each payment that depends on your plan, shown on the Pricing page, on top of Stripe’s fees. A refund gives Leaf’s fee back.
11. AI features
What an AI produces, whether code your AI writes or the AI calls of your apps, is generated automatically. It can be wrong, incomplete, or resemble protected content. You check it before publishing or relying on it, and you do not base a decision that seriously affects a person on it alone.
The AI you build with (Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral or another) is not provided by Leaf: it stays under its provider’s terms. When you connect it to Leaf, it acts on your behalf, with your role in the organisation, and you can cut the connection at any time from the dashboard. By default it prepares previews; putting a site online stays a person’s decision, unless an owner or admin decides otherwise for a project.
12. Availability and support
We do what is needed to keep Leaf running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Personal plans come with no availability commitment. A service level commitment exists only if signed in a separate written agreement.
We may change Leaf, and add, modify or remove features. If a change removes a feature you pay for, we tell you in advance.
Support is by email at [email protected].
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or where the law forbids limiting it.
In other cases, and as far as the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue, lost customers, or data you could have saved;
- our total liability to an organisation is limited to the amounts it paid us in the 12 months before the event that causes it.
If you are a consumer, these limits apply only as far as consumer law allows, and you keep every guarantee the law gives you.
You hold us harmless against third-party claims caused by your content, your projects, or use contrary to section 8.
14. End of the contract and exporting your data
You can delete a project, an organisation or your account at any time from the dashboard. Before that, you can export each project (its code, its content in every language, its images and files, its translations) from its settings. The data in your databases stays viewable in the dashboard until deletion.
We may end the contract if you seriously breach these terms, after giving you formal notice to fix it within a reasonable time, or immediately when the seriousness justifies it (section 8). We may also end a free plan with 30 days’ notice.
When the contract ends, your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy. The current month’s usage remains due. Invoices are kept as long as the law requires.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. For a significant change, we tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not accept it, you may cancel before that date; by continuing to use Leaf afterwards, you accept it.
16. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
In case of a dispute, write to us first at [email protected]: we look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of the judicial district of Namur have jurisdiction (for a dispute between companies, the enterprise court of Liège, Namur division). A consumer may also go to the courts the law provides for, in particular those of their home.
A consumer may turn, free of charge, to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, North Gate II, boulevard du Roi Albert II 8, box 1, 1000 Brussels (consumentenombudsdienst.be/en). The European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025, so it is no longer offered.
